What is the 'Long Exposure Series'?

The 'Long Exposure Series, Limassol, 2013’ is a series of three photographs that encapture the apparent motion of the stars in the night sky, due to the Earth's rotation. The technique used for capturing star trails is called Long Exposure, hence the name. Not being able to put on an exhibition due to lockdown restrictions I thought of digitally printing the photographs onto tote bags. I really wanted to share with the world the sky’s beauty and what happens beyond the visible eye.

Not your average biodegradable tote bag!

The tote bags are digitally printed onto 100% cotton material which makes them durable, biodegradable and reusable as they can be washed as well (only hand-wash). The dimensions are 380mm x 410mm with 360mm long handles making them wonderful for just dropping your stuff in.

Every good recipe has a hint of love(or what pragmatists would call- care). Thus, the bags are folded nicely and put in a sealed plastic bag that I urge you to recycle later on. When you purchase a ‘Long Exposure Series’ tote bag you get an A5 printed postcard as a thank you note and it’s also a way to enjoy the photograph on your wall.
